In plain words

1. 01The core is AGPL-3.0. Use, change and self-host it for free. If you change it and offer it to others over a network, you share your changes.
2. 02One workspace per install is free forever, with unlimited collections, records and members and every core feature, including MCP.
3. 03Pro adds unlimited workspaces and the in-Studio AI assistant for $9 per month per install. That code lives in the ee/ folder under the Kanesh Commercial License (draft). The source is visible; using it needs a license key, and bypassing the key check is not allowed.
4. 04Keys are signed and verified offline, with no phone-home. If a key expires, extra workspaces become read-only and nothing is deleted.
